This is my first time having a room on the first floor and it takes some getting used to, mainly because of the traffic. Other than that it was a great stay. The exercise room and the INDOOR pool were great.
Close to UT Health. Rooms were so nice and so clean. Breakfast was wonderful. Biscuits and sausage gravy, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, eggs, turkey sausage, reg sausage links, potatoes, yogurt, juice, milk and chocolate milk, coffee and creamer, plus more! Really enjoyed our stay. No Jacuzzi but a really nice indoor pool and workout room and sauna!
The motel was nice and clean. The room was also clean and spacious. My one very huge complaint is the air conditioners. Yes, I say plural because there were two air conditioners in our room. The problem (huge) to us is they did not blow hard enough to cool down the room. They were on from 6 pm to when we returned at 11:30ish, and the room was still stuffy, warm, and very stagnant. My husband and I only select under one sheet and still pulled it down due to the warmth in are room. Please, someone look into this matter. It was very uncomfortable all night.
Great staff. Heated indoor pool was fun. Saw it cleaned Sunday morning and towels were always stocked. Pool area closes late as well, sauna is not hot enough but nice they had one. We enjoyed watching the automated pancake machine and having hot breakfast offerings (eggs, biscuit & gravy, sausages, etc) in the morning.
Room nice and clean, lady at the front desk was nice and professional. Breakfast above average in this price category (in the US). Pool was pleasant and warm, fitness equipped enough, just the sauna looks like they forgot it exists. Altogether a pleasant stay.
We had a great time and stay here. The rooms was clean and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was one of the better ones we have had and was close to pretty much everything we needed.
Clean and quiet. Beds are comfy. Rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. Halls smell really good. Rooms have Dove products. Location accessable to many amenities like dining, shopping, etc. But the rooms have the world's tiniest TVs. I don't get it. Even large screen TVs are pretty inexpensive these days and the rooms TVs are like small computer monitors. Weird.
The building is a little dated But the rooms were nice.
